Food is really good, really hits that sushi spot in my belly when I'm craving seafood! We came right when they opened so it was literally empty inside. The parking stop is a bit small but the restaurant is really big with either booths or bar seats. The last time I ate here was about 10-14 years ago and the food is as good as I remember it to be. We ordered the following cut rolls: - fresh water eel cut roll - crunchy cut roll - rainbow cut roll - spider cut roll My only ick was that the eel roll only has 5 pieces but the eel sauce it is smothered in is so decadent My mom's ick was that the ginger was served in a chipped bowl

Delicious sushi. I love their hand rolls and if you aren't up for sushi, the udon is amazing as well. Very friendly staff

A great place to enjoy fresh sushi when visiting Canoga Park! The building is unique with a warm and cozy vibe. The food is consistently fresh, great portions and delicious. The service is always great, friendly and always available The koi pond at the entrance is awesome

I'm SO happy that Oishi Sushi is back! They closed over a year and a half ago, after an electrical fire shut their doors. And I truly truly missed this place. Golf is the owner, as well as the main sushi chef at Oishi. Golf is attuned to details. He creates sushi/sashimi that's as beautiful to the eye as delicious to the taste buds. There are many specific dishes that are of his own invention, like his '4 Seasons Sushi': Each bite of sushi is attuned to a season of the year: (For instance, Summer is a gorgeous fresher than fresh generous slab of Ahi tuna, topped with avocado, chives on top, ensconced in a little pool of chili oil. Omg is it good! And each of the other seasons are presented similarly. Yum!). There are so many little details that come together in Golf's creations. Pure Wonderstuff! And boy how I missed this. You have to try the Creamy Salmon, or the Diana Roll, which is decadence on a plate. I hadn't heard that Oishi had reopened their doors, but noticed they had reopened while driving past the other day. They've remodeled the place, and it looks fantastic. I really couldn't recommend Oishi Sushi more. It's our little treasure here in Winnetka. I'm So glad they're back, and better than ever! The service is always perfect, and friendly. My favorite Sushi Bar!

Been driving by this place for years and finally decided to go by with the family. Really tasty food and great service. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

We only got take out so this review is strictly about the quality and portion if the food. We got Spit Fire Roll, Crunchy Roll, and Hokkaido Roll. All were very delicious and fresh. They have some regular rolls as well but we wanted to go for something that's unique to the restaurant. Overall we were very satisfied with our picks and will dine in next time.

Excellent Food and Service! The Restaurant is clean and not overpriced. The waiter Issac couldn't have been more helpful. We have been coming here around 18-20 years. Natalie and her Husband Golf are so Friendly and Attentive. It's just a place for Friendliness and Delicious Food. Thank You for giving us such great Food and Service throughout the years!

Delicious fresh fish, large portions and friendly staff. The booths are very comfortable and the ambiance is very nice. The Sunomono (cucumber salad) was cut in nice sized pieces. I got the Deluxe Bento with very large, spicy tuna roll (+$4.95) There were 5 large rolls (nigiri) and 5 or 6 generous pieces of sashimi. Also came with green salad and miso, which was flavorful and delicious. The potato croquettes were very good. I will definitely be back.
